“I remember in the eighth grade I would cut grass, wash cars, just earning enough money so I could bike to the local electronics store and buy another speaker,” says Gannon. “By the end of the school year, I had a full surround sound system in my grandmother’s living room. Nothing high-end end but that was a big deal in 1991. That project gave me a taste for electronic innovation that pushed me over the edge to where I am today.”
