Atomos has previewed its first-ever reference-grade monitor, the Studio Pro 2710, a 27-inch 4K UHD OLED designed to deliver uncompromising color fidelity in a compact and more affordable form factor. The company also announced key updates to its Ninja TX, introduced the Shinobi 7 RX, and expanded Ninja Phone compatibility.
For years, Atomos has been best known for its on-camera monitor-recorders, but the Studio Pro 2710 marks a bold step into post-production. Described as a “technology preview,” the monitor is aimed at colorists, editors, and finishing artists who require reference accuracy yet have been constrained by the size and price of traditional grading displays.
Studio Pro 2710: rethinking reference monitoring
Traditional reference monitors often cost between $30,000 and $40,000 and take up significant desk space. Atomos positions the Studio Pro 2710 below $10,000 while introducing features typically found only in high-end post houses.

At its core is a vertically aligned OLED subpixel structure that eliminates common QD-OLED issues such as color fringing and fine-detail distortion. The result is sharper rendering of edges, text, and fine detail, while maintaining precision across the full frame.
Color management is handled through true 33³ 3D LUTs with tetrahedral interpolation, ensuring accurate tonal transitions and gradients. A patent-pending LUT preview interface lets users spin and visualize LUTs in real time, turning color transforms into an interactive part of the grading process.

Calibration-first design and environment control
Atomos extends accuracy beyond the panel itself with a patent-pending sensor-calibrated surround lighting system. Integrated into the back of the monitor, the system calibrates not only the screen but also the grading environment, ensuring that ambient light matches the reference standard. A color-calibrated work light is also built in, useful for scripts or grading consoles.
Calibration is supported by the new Atomos Studio K-100 spectral probe, which can be used across multiple monitors and locations, allowing distributed teams and clients to see identical images. Factory presets are included for immediate use, but users can fine-tune with on-site recalibration.

Workflow-ready connectivity
The Studio Pro 2710 supports HDR and SDR workflows with 4K UHD resolution. Connectivity includes 12G-SDI, HDMI, and network inputs, enabling use in both traditional facilities and modern cloud-based pipelines. Out-of-the-box compatibility includes Atomosphere, Frame.io, and Grass Valley AMP.
Additional workflow refinements include front-facing I/O, four USB-C ports for peripherals and calibration probes, and a touchpad-driven interface inspired by mobile devices. Inside, a next-generation FPGA processor ensures uncompromising pixel-level precision.

Ninja TX: RAW and camera control
The Ninja TX continues to evolve as Atomos’ flagship monitor-recorder. Supporting up to 8K ProRes RAW capture over SDI and HDMI, it now benefits from full ProRes RAW support in DaVinci Resolve without transcoding. A forthcoming update will also add camera control, demonstrated in beta form at IBC.
Shinobi 7 RX: wireless HDR monitoring
Atomos also expanded its monitoring line with the Shinobi 7 RX. Building on the compact Shinobi 2, this 7-inch, 2200-nit HDR display adds touchscreen camera control, SDI/HDMI inputs, and integrated Wi-Fi. It can serve as an on-camera monitor or as part of a wireless video workflow.
Ninja Phone: wider compatibility
First launched as a way to connect higher-end iPhones for ProRes capture, the Ninja Phone now supports all iOS 18-compatible iPhones and iPads, including older Lightning-based models. This opens the device to a broader user base, integrating mobile workflows with mirrorless and cinema cameras.
